Projects and Partnerships
Husker Writers Project: through this program, I partnered with a local high school teacher to design a collaborative curriculum for our two classes. My FYW students collaborated with her high school journalism class to research issues on equity in education, culminating in a showcase with an audience of educators and other community stakeholders.
Writing Information Literacy: this teacher inquiry project with writing teachers and librarians, focused on intersections between libraries and FYW learning frameworks. I collaborated with librarians and other writing instructors to research connections between writing and information literacy, and to develop curriculum and teaching resources.
